Practice Together | Sit with WITT
join me.
A meditation practice is not complete without a small piece of each of these:
Mentorship
Teachings
Community
Sit with WITT is a free online offering in which I'm wanting to highlight the 3rd piece - Community.
Whether you are seeking greater accountability in your practice, or some company to keep you inspired, or hold you in times of concern, you can join me for 45 minutes, every Sunday, on YouTube Live for practice.
No Guidelines.
Just an invitation to BE.
Still.
In practice.
Together.
More details Below.
I would love it if you joined <3

What to Expect
I will open the hour with a poem/intention for our time together. This window for practice will be 30-40 minutes. It will be unguided. At the end, I will ring a bell to close the silence, and follow by answering a frequently asked question. Whether you are new to meditation and are seeking accountability, or you are a seasoned practitioner and would like to be in like-minded company - All are welcome.
02
Come as You Are
No need to "be" anything other than yourself. Tired, content, restless, relaxed. Use this window to eliminate distraction. Invite in a willingness and curiosity to be with what is. Allow yourself to settle, and gain clarity and insight, together, in stillness.
03
Make it Your Own
In part, practicing formal meditation is to strengthen our ability to focus. Concentration builds Calmness, and both bring Insight. This is what we are here to do. Yet, if the energy level is high in your body, or mind, sitting down and immediately closing your eyes may not be what's best. Perhaps mindful movement, journaling, or pulling from a deck of oracle cards, sitting with eyes open and not doing anything, might be a way to begin instead. You'll see me doing this as well from time to time. You are encouraged and invited to engage and participate in however way is best for you in the above mentioned tools, and posture: seated, standing, walking, lying down, eyes open, closed.
